This is a photo of a production aladin I did a week ago you can't see me because I'm in the 

back but it was a pretty cool production that we did it took us around 1 hole term to 

practice it until we got it perfect for the performance night.

Matariki

Happy Matariki everyone! 

On the 2 July we celebrated the Māori New Year, a time to consider the year ahead. The days are starting to lengthen and spring will soon be here, we just need to get through this cold winter first! 

Matariki and the Pleiades star cluster, have got many stories attached to them. We looked at two; one about how Ranginui and Papatuanuku were separated by Tāne Mahuta, and how Tāwhirimatea was so angry he ripped out his eyes and threw thunderbolts to the sky, creating the cluster, and another story about 7 sisters making kites, and them going to the sky. Ururangi’s kite was different from the rest, it was rainbow coloured. We have mixed these two stories to create the design of our kites.

Matariki

Hey, blogger today we made a picture of Matariki picture frame that we had to indent on some  styrofoam with a pencil that we didn't put some ink on it and then put it on some paper and then made that into a frame and now it is a Matariki with the Mt Cook and the lake in front of it.

Night at the disco

Today we had to look at this comic and figure out what happens 

in the last thig at first it was blank. So the comic is about two 

girls having fun and talking but the two other mean girls 

take one of the other girls away because one of them had a lazy eye,

in the last part I put that the girl with the lazy eye just joins in 

and they have a great time.

Hey blogger,

For school today this is a voki it is about the treaty of Waitangi,

we had to write from the perspective of the Maori when the English men came

to New Zealand or from the English men's perspective. I did it from

the English men's perspective.

Lego man

 

For school we made these lego portrait they gave you an outline of the lego man and you had to fill in the rest of it.

My pepeha

 For school, we had to do a pepeha I made it on adobe spark it took about 30 mins it is very easy to make, you should make one in your spare time or for a school project.

Jumping off rocks

 My favourite part about Camp was when I jumped off the big rock at coasteering it was really fun because it was high and scary and after we jumped we look at some lava that was 9.3 million years old.
