literacy

This week in literacy we were looking at what liquids melt ice the fastest in. We used salt water, vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice, V energy drink, citric acid water, and water. I thought that the vinegar would melt the ice the fastest but I was wrong the normal water melted the ice the fastest coming in at 14 minutes and the vinegar took 39 minutes, the longest one took 51 minutes and that was the saltwater. Why do you think that the salt took the longest and the water took the shortest?
